Summer: July, August & September
During the summer months the sun is obviously right above the northern hemisphere and Europe, America and Canada are excellent choices for a holiday. But of course you will not be alone and it is a challenge to keep away from the crowds. This can be sorted by being creative and with a little bit of research. In Africa the dry period begins in Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya. It is possible to make fantastic combinations of safari and beach holidays. And you might consider the Indian Ocean with Mauritius and the paradise-like Seychelles. Most of Asia lies under rain during this period with the exception of Bali, Japan, Eastern Malaysia and Eastern Thailand.
If you are willing to go far away, consider destinations in South America where Peru, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, or South Brazil are attractive choices. And for the real world travellers, with plenty of time on their hands, North Australia and Polynesia are great options.
