The magic of Marrakech

About two hours driving from the Atlantic coast you will find the Imperial city of Marrakech, surrounded by thousands of palm trees, with the outlines of the Atlas mountains in the background. The walled city was founded in 1602, using the best Andalusian craftsmen and decorators. There is much to see, such as beautiful palaces, interesting museums and colourful gardens. The Medina is the heart of the city and it provides the ultimate shop-till-you-drop experience. In the evening you will find excellent restaurants with that very special and romantic Arabian nights atmosphere.
Les Jardins de la Medina has a great atmosphere and an excellent location within the city walls. It offers the service of an excellent boutique hotel, but with a private palace atmosphere. The palace was once owned by a princess and is built around a inner garden, with (heated) swimming pool with sun beds. There is a fantastic French/ Moroccan restaurant with a terrace and a very stylish lounge with bar. All 36 rooms are excellent and the bathrooms are beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan mosaics. There is a hammam and a beauty centre (salon) which offers massage.
