8-day journey Iran
Contrary to what sometimes is suggested, Iran is a very safe and hospitable country and a great experience for individual travellers. It is probably the richest country in the Middle East in our art historical point of view, with its Persian culture and Farsi language. The people of Iran are proud of their Persian past and are very eager to show visitors around. There are excellent flight connections, good roads and charming historic hotels. There are some restrictions; women are obliged to wear a scarf and no alcohol is served.
