Nice & Provence

Nice was hardly more than a village when it was discovered by the British two hundred years ago. During the last century, the entire European jet-set followed, including many famous writers. Anno 2016 Nice is still going strong. The town center is known for its fashionable Belle Époque architecture, great museums and elegant shopping streets. But it is also a perfect base from which to travel by convertible, exploring the beautiful coastline and hinterland. During the 1920’s the American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda traveled to the French Riviera. Zelda fell in love with Villa Saint Louis along the Cap d’Antibes and which they chose as their residence. Fitzgerald’s masterpiece, “Tender is the Night” was written here and it was here that he found the inspiration for his later masterpiece ‘The Great Gatsby’. In 1929, the villa was transformed into the current Belles Rives hotel, with 43 guest rooms, a private beach and a water ski club. Our customers will receive free sun beds on the beach perk during their stay here.
Cap Estel dates from 1900 and is a hotel with a very special story. It was built by a close friend of Oscar Wilde and later landed in the hands of the Russian nobility. It has a breathtaking location on a private peninsula, not far from Monaco. At the disposal of the guests is a private beach and an infinity pool. The 18 guest rooms are furnished with Hollywood-style details. The Spa overlooks the sea and our customers can enjoy a free facial massage for two.
Located on scented hills overlooking Cape Camarat and Cape Taillat is a hidden paradise. La Reserve Ramatuelle is an intimate resort with sea views and is surrounded by pine trees within a private domain. The hotel section has 28 rooms and next to these there are twelve beautiful villas with 4 to 6 bedrooms, for rent. The beautiful spa covers 1000 m2 and offers 11 treatment rooms, a gym, steam rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Snacks and drinks are served in the lounge / bar or restaurant, which serves Mediterranean cuisine.
Le Bastide de Gordes is situated on a hill on the outskirts of the village of Gordes. The hotel is surrounded by terraces and hanging gardens and has panoramic views over the Luberon Valley. The hotel was completely renovated in early 2015 and is highly recommended. Our customers will enjoy a free lunch or dinner at the restaurant Citadelle.
