Green Istrië

Istria, the western province of Croatia, is a green oasis surrounded by a crystal clear blue-green ocean. Istria lies on the same level as Venice and during the summer months it’s possible to travel by ferry between the two countries. The coastline is incomparably beautiful with picturesque coastal villages, dating back to the time of Venetian rule.
Istria is the most Italian-influenced region of Croatia and Italian is the second national language. The beautiful hinterland is, rightly so, often compared to Tuscany for its beautiful scenery, medieval villages, fine wines and high gourmet level. And just as it is in Tuscany, beautiful villas with private pools can be found here, but at a more attractive price range.

The romantic coastal town of Rovinj is absolutely stunning, and a must for every cruise ship coming to this area. Our favorite hotel here is Monte Mulini. This stylish hotel is located directly by the ocean, in a wooded area and about a 10-minute walk from the picturesque town of Rovinj. The hotel has a famous gourmet restaurant with a spectacular wine cellar and an excellent spa.

Istrian Villas offer luxury, service, quality and style and is situated on a quiet seaside location. Most of the luxury villas have a private terrace, jacuzzi, sun beds and access to a private beach. Part of the resort is car-free and an electric car will bring you from the parking lot to your villa.

The Brij Union National Park is a group of 12 large and two smaller islands and it is possible to visit the islands by ferry from the mainland. The archipelago is car free but exploring is possible by bike, foot or the electric train. Tito’s former luxurious residence is now a museum with information about the history of the archipelago and nearby there are golf courses and tennis courts that were once built for Tito and his supporters.
Croatia perfect for a sailing holiday and we also organize rentals of beautiful yachts in different categories and with or without a skipper. The sailing routes along the Dalmatian coast from Zadar to Dubrovnik is actually considered to be one of the most beautiful routes in the world, so come and see!
