Balearic Islands

In spite of their great popularity you will find both tranquility and entertainment on the Balearic Islands, a fabulous destination for island hopping.
The pleasant capital of Mallorca is in itself reason enough to visit this beautiful island. With 200, 000 inhabitants, the city is located along a 20km bay and has a historic center and a marina. Hotel Sant Francesc is one of the most luxurious hotels in the historic center and has a rooftop terrace with a pool. Cap Rocat lies some 15km outside the city, and is housed in an old fortress with a spectacular setting on a cliff.
The rugged west coast offers beautiful beaches and medieval villages and spectacular sunsets. Belmond La Residencia ***** is the most exclusive hotel on the west coast and is typical Mallorcan style with stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea. The village of Puerto Sóller has a nice center with a pedestrian promenade along a beautiful sandy bay. The smaller hotel Esplendido is separated from the ocean and beach by the promenade and although it only has three stars it has a stylish decor and a rooftop swimming pool.
Menorca has largely escaped mass tourism, and has beautiful beaches and is great for diving and snorkeling. Our favorite hotel is the unique Torralbenc ****, beautifully situated among vineyards and overlooking the sea. This traditional finca has been tastefully converted into a luxury hotel with 27 rooms and cottages.
The island of Ibiza is known for its beautiful scenery, sandy beaches and lively nightlife. The ME Ibiza Hotel ***** is located on the beach just 12km from Ibiza town, and has a private dock and the Nikki Beach Club just next door.
The elegant 19th century mansion Can Lluc, is located in the hinterlands and is a dream come true for the owner Lucas Prat, who transformed his grandfathers estate into a small paradise with only 14 rooms. There are also lovely modest family hotels such as Casa Naya, a lovely country house with swimming pool and 15 guest rooms.
From Ibiza you can take the ferry to Formentera, which has no airport and therefor no large constructions along the shoreline. A wonderful peaceful destination and perfect for snorkeling in the crystal clear waters, with underwater views up to 50 meters deep. Accommodation is available at the Gecko Beach Club located on Playa Migjorn, one of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast of the island.
We offer beautiful beachfront villas and farmhouses in the hinterlands, with privacy and comfort, on all of the islands.
