Essaouira, a charming seaside town with a picturesque fishing port and a walled historic centre, lies on the beautiful sprawling Moroccan south Atlantic Coast. A stylish Sofitel, with a golf course, has been built on a 600 hectare estate just 7km south of the medina of Essaouira. The resort is surrounded by natural sand dunes and expansive beaches in a peaceful environment that can be reached by foot or by bike.
